Veronica's Christmas Present

This is Veronica's present from her daughter.  Do I need to say anymore?

This is only 1/4 of it, it's pretty big, it will cover a queen size bed.  We don't know who made it or when.  She found it at an antique store and paid $15.00 for it.  What a find.  It does have a couple of little stains on it, so we'll use Sew Clean on it and spray it with Sew Fresh to freshen it up, but it is truly wonderful.  Veronica was so happy.

Tip Thursday on Sew Clean

So here is a great tip from Sue out in Quiltland, she loves Sew Clean and she says that she uses a small bottle from the craft store with a small pointy tip so that she can get in to small areas, or really up close and personal with the Sew Clean.  She just pours a small amount of Sew Clean from her big bottle into this small bottle and she says it works great.  She says she tells everyone she knows about this.  Thanks for the tip Sue, I myself use a cotton swab to dab it on in small areas. I'm going to have to get me a small bottle, I think this is a great tip.   Sew Clean is an all natural spot and stain remover for quilts or other delicate fabrics.  Sew Clean is biodegradable, has no butyl or harsh alkalies.  If you are interested in purchasing Sew Clean you can go to your local quilt store. Sew Clean Tip

I got a call this morning from Sue, she's a quilter out there in Quiltland who says she loves Sew Clean.  She had a small problem.  She used it on an older quilt that had muslin in it, I'm thinking it was the background.  She said she uses Sew Clean all the time and has never had a problem with it.
However, on this "older" muslin, the Sew Clean left an outline of the spot where it was sprayed on. She took spring water, dabbed it and the stain is now gone.  This happened to me as well, I thought I had gotten carried away with it and had put way to much on.  I thought, let me try to blot it out with water, however, we have well water and am not to sure of the minerals that are in our well water.  I used the bottled water and dabbed and the tan outline of the stain went away and has never come back.
